Silicon Valley is located on the South San Francisco Bay Area in California. It is known for being a phenomenon for technology and home to many major software and internet companies. Did you know Silicon Valley is home to some of the best boba shops in town? I have narrowed down the top 5 boba shops in Silicon Valley that I personally been to.

1. Taiwanese Professional Tea, Cupertino, CA
I love the different varieties of milk teas they serve there! My favorite drink out of them was the strawberry milk tea because I can taste the freshness of the strawberry and how fresh it is. It was not overly sweet and best of all, these use cane sugar since it's healthier. If you are a black tea lover, the pearl milk tea is the right one for you. If you're an oolong tea lover, the Tie Guan tea is for you!
2. Milk Tea Lab, San Jose, CA
The Milk tea lab serves a variety of milk teas and snacks. What makes them different from the other milk tea spots? This unique milk tea hot pot! You get to choose your tea base, and 3 toppings of your choice. They also provide you with the sweetener shot cup and some milk for your tea. This was the perfect way to help me warm up during the winter and I hope they bring this concept back! I highly recommend checking out this milk tea hot pot and this was very enjoyable for me to do!
3. Tastea, San Jose, CA
Tastea not only serves delicious milk teas, but their fruit tea was also super bomb! These fruit teas are the Stevia line drinks that they have in store. The most popular drink is the Strawberry Ecstasy. I liked it because it was sweet and had an awesome flavor profile; it was also refreshing during the heat in the summer. I especially like the Sunset Peach because I just liked the texture of the peaches down at the bottom. Overall, all of these drinks were refreshing but the Strawberry Ecstasy was the best!

4. Rabbit Tea, Santa Clara, CA
Rabbit Tea is located inside the WestValley Fair Mall on the top floor. I highly recommend the salted caramel 25% sweetness because the balance with the sweetness and caramel is just right! It was so delicious with the foam and caramel drizzle on top! I liked the strawberry matcha but I would go with 50% sweetness in my opinion since the matcha is bitter. The sweetness will help tone down the bitterness. The strawberry Milkyway is more for kids however I still liked because it tasted like strawberries! Overall I loved all of them however hands down to the salted caramel.

5. Fantasia Coffee and Tea, Milpitas, San Jose, Cupertino, and Santa Clara, CA
Fantasia Coffee and Tea has 4 locations and serves from milk tea to fruit teas, coffee, and pastries/sweets. The Grape Fruit Jasmine Tea was so delicious! I loved the flavor and how it wasn't totally sweet but has a natural sweetness from the grapefruit itself. There was also flan and it tasted nice and smooth. They recently added some hot grass jelly to the sweet items but some condense milk, in my opinion, would have topped it off. Overall, their drinks are nicely well done, and the sweets were delicious. I highly recommend this place just to relax but be careful in the afternoon because it gets crowded over there!
