Amausaan Uji Matcha is a Japanese dessert restaurant where they serve a lot of matcha based desserts such as an 18 layer crepe cake, soft served ice cream and more. There are currently two locations in the bay area; one in Berkley, and the other in San Francisco. Amausaan Uji Matcha is announcing 3 new locations in the bay area: Newark, Union City, and Daly City. The Newark location use to be a Japanese Crepe shop called Storm Crepes. Storm Crepes was also a Japanese dessert restaurant except they served crepes made in creative ways. They recently announced that they have gone out of business and gave no further information on why they shut down nor the possibility of opening a new location. There was no further information on when the grand openings were in all three locations, but hopefully sometime after April 7th.
